3 tbsp. flour
1 c. cold milk
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. softened butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt

Over medium heat in small saucepan put flour and milk. Stir constantly until thick consistency (wire whisk works well). Pour into large mixing bowl. Let cool. When cool, add remaining ingredients. Beat on high until whipped cream consistency.
