MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
3 to 4 qt. popcorn, popped
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. white corn syrup

In a 2-quart glass or Pyrex bowl, combine all ingredients (except baking soda and popcorn). Bring to a boil, then cook on high for 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir in baking soda.

Put popcorn in a large, clean brown paper grocery bag. Pour syrup over popcorn. Close bag and shake.

Cook in bag on high for 1 minute. Shake up and cook for another 1 minute. Pour into pan and cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
