CARAMEL PUFFED CORN 
1 bag Puffed Corn (found in the popcorn isle of the grocery store)
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/3 cup corn syrup (Karo)
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix butter, brown sugar and syrup in a microwaveable bowl. Cook in the microwave for 2 minutes. Take out and stir. Microwave another 2 minutes.

Add baking soda to mixture and stir. Pour puffed corn and mixture in a brown paper bag and stir or shake ingredients.

Put brown bag in microwave for 2 minutes. Take out and shake or stir. Put back in microwave for 2 more minutes.

Pour mixture on a wax paper lined baking sheet to dry.

Variation: You can substitute Puffed Corn for Corn Chex, Rice Chex or Honey Chex. Submitted by: Sara
