LEMON BREAD 
1/3 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. milk
1 medium lemon
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Melt butter. Add sugar and eggs; beat. Add extract and milk; grate all lemon peel. Set lemon aside. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Grease and flour bread pan.

Bake at 325°F for 70 minutes. Juice your lemon. Add 1/4 cup sugar.

While bread is hot from oven, pour mixture over top. Let cool in pan until slightly warm on bottom. Remove from pan. Place on wire cooling rack or wax paper. Enjoy!
