2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Pinch salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. shortening (1/2 of it sweet butter)
2 eggs, mixed well

Use Golden Delicious apples. Peel, cut into slices and line in pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Sometimes, I ground walnuts and sprinkle over apples with raisins or plain.

Mix above dough well. Put in refrigerator for one hour. Roll out to fit a jelly roll pan size 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch.

May use Italian plums - blueberries.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
