THE WORLD'S BEST COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 c. salad oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. uncooked one minute oatmeal
1 c. crushed corn flakes
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg, mix well. Add oats, corn flakes and nuts stirring well. Add flour, soda and salt. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased sheet and flatten with fork. Cook at 325 degrees about 12 minutes. Good! Yield: Approx. 100 cookies.
