BLITZ KUCHEN 
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Rind of 1 lemon, grated
3/4 c. butter (not the whipped)
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3/4 c. milk

Mix and sift flour, baking powder and salt; add lemon rind. Cream butter, add sugar gradually and cream until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time; mix well after each addition. Add milk alternately with flour mixture and mix.

Pour into greased pan (13x9x2). Spread with topping. Bake in preheated 350 degree F. oven about 30-40 minutes or until tested done (with toothpick coming out clean).

TOPPING:

3/4 c. chopped nuts
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix ingredients and spread on kuchen prior to baking.
