CHEESE KUCHEN 
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. shortening

FILLING:

1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. evaporated milk
1 lb. cottage cheese
2 egg yolks (beaten)
2 egg whites (stiffly beaten)

Combine crust ingredients and roll out the dough for a deep dish pan or cake pan.

Filling: Put cottage cheese through ricer then combine ingredients except egg whites. Fold egg whites into mixture. Pour into crust and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
