This was so delicious and I used apple turkey sausage as well as sauteed garlic and onion that I added.

My boyfriend and I loved this recipe! I added onions, mushrooms and green peppers to the sauce to make a little chunkier. Because there's only two of us, I froze half of it and it reheated perfectly! A great casserole dish for sausage!

OOEY, GOOEY, MEATY, CHEESEY DELICIOUSNESS! Before I fixed it, I described it to my husband as a baked spaghetti with lots of Italian sausage. I used linguini, because that is what I had. When he ate it, he said it was like having pizza in a casserole. It made plenty for a large family, as the two of us had 2 generous meals of it, with 2 more servings left for lunches or to freeze. I used turkey Italian sausage, whole grain linguini, and low fat Prego sauce. Easy, delicious, plentiful, and I think economical! What more could one want? It's a keeper that I plan to use often!
