"PEANUT-BUTTER BREAD" | |
1-1/2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. chunky-style peanut butter 1 c. Quick rolled oats 1 egg, beaten 1 c. milk Heat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into bowl. Cut in peanut butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add oats, egg and milk stirring only until blended. Pour into 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 2-1/2 inch loaf pan. Bake for about 1 hour. Cool before cutting. |
