APPLE-COCONUT PIE 
FILLING:

3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. butter
6 c. apple slices

Combine sugar, flour and spices. Mix with apples and lemon juice. Spread in unbaked pastry lined pie pan. Dot with butter. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.

COCONUT TOPPING:

1 beaten egg
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can coconut
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
Dash of salt

Combine all ingredients and spread over baked pie. Bake 20 minutes longer.
