DATE - TAPIOCA PUDDING 
1 c. pearl tapioca
5 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. brown sugar
1 c. dates
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Soak overnight (at least 8 hours) the tapioca in water, salt added. In morning, add remaining ingredients. Bake 1 1/2 hours in moderate oven. Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
