CHERRY COBBLER 
1 can sour cherries
3/4 c. sugar
1 block butter
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. self-rising flour

Drain off juice from 1 can sour cherries and soak in 3/4 cup sugar. Melt 1 block butter in pan and mix and mix batter of 3/4 cup milk, 3/4 cup of self-rising flour, and 3/4 cup sugar. Pour batter into buttered pan and add cherries. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
