APRICOT BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. quick oatmeal
3/4 c. butter, softened

Mix together; will be crumbly. Pack one-half of mixture in bottom of 9 x 9 baking dish, greased.

Spread apricot preserves over the mixture. Sprinkle the remaining mixture on top of the preserves, packing lightly.

Bake in slow oven, 300 degrees, until light brown. Cut while hot.
