What type of oil can I use for this recipe? I have olive oil and corn oil at home for deep frying the fried dough.

Thanks.

Hi Vesna,

Olive oil isn't very good for deep frying as it has a low smoking point; it's good for pan frying. For deep frying, use vegetable or peanut oil.

Hi Billy,

One 1/4 oz. packet of active dry yeast (7g) is about 2-1/4 teaspoons.
