SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1 pt. oysters, chopped in sm. pieces

Grease 1 quart casserole dish with butter. Place a 1 inch layer of crushed crackers in bottom of dish. Layer oysters on top of crackers. Repeat until dish is full. Bring about 2 cups milk to boiling point and pour over mixture in dish. Make sure all of the crackers are moist. Dot top with butter. Cover; bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 45 minutes. Remove the cover for the last 10 to 15 minutes of baking.
