WACKY CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. vinegar
3/4 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. water

Sift into ungreased 9 x 13 pan flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Make three indentations in dry ingredients; one for vinegar; one for oil; and one for vanilla. Pour cold water over all. Mix with fork and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

CREAMY FROSTING
1 stick butter, softened
1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla or 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2/3 c. milk

Mix butter, shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add flour 1 tablespoon at a time. Add flavoring and milk. Beat 10 to 12 minutes or until sugar is dissolved.
