“BAKED PEACH CUSTARD” IS IN:

BAKED PEACH CUSTARD 
2/3 cup Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
2 1/4 cups hot water
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
8 halves of fresh or canned peaches
nutmeg, for sprinkling

Mix sweetened condensed milk and hot water.

Pour gradually over eggs. Add salt and vanilla.

Place peach halves in greased baking dish. Pour mixture over peaches. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Place in pan filled with hot water to depth of custard,

Bake in slow oven (325°F.) about 1 hour or until custard is set.

Note: A knife blade inserted will come out clean when custard is done.

Makes 8 servings.
