1/2 cup unpopped popcorn kernels
4 candy canes (use more for extra peppermint flavor)
3 oz. milk chocolate (can use a chocolate bar or 30 Hershey Kisses)
2 oz. of pretzels (I used Utz holiday shaped pretzels but any kind will do)
1/2 cup dry roasted salted peanuts

Pop the kernels in an air popper into a large bowl (you can also use microwave popcorn if that's what you have).

While the popcorn is popping, unwrap the candy canes, place in a plastic freezer bag and crunch into small pieces with a hammer or by rolling over them with a rolling pin.

Once the popcorn is done, mix in the pretzels and peanuts.

Melt the milk chocolate, I used a chocolate melting pot but you can also place the chocolate pieces in a ceramic bowl and melt in the microwave.

With a wooden spoon, spoon the melted chocolate onto the popcorn, peanuts, and pretzels in the bowl and stir. Sprinkle the candy cane pieces over the mixture and stir until the ingredients are evenly coated.

Enjoy with a holiday beverage such as hot cocoa or warm cider! :)
