SWEET-SOUR CABBAGE 
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 green apple
3 c. shredded red cabbage
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1/4 tsp. pepper
Pinch salt

Melt butter, stir in brown sugar. Add onion and chopped apple. Cook 5 minutes, stirring until somewhat soft. Add remaining ingredients. Cook 15 minutes. Serves 4.
