FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1/2 lb. cherries
3 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 lb. pineapple
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt

Combine dry ingredients and mix over fruit and nuts. Melt 2 blocks butter. Add 1 1/2 cups sugar and 2 eggs and beat well. Combine all together and mix with spoon. Drop teaspoon on baking sheet, sprayed with Pam. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Add 1 stick melted butter, if needed, if batter is too stiff.
