SPANISH RICE I 
4 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. long grain rice
1 can chicken broth

Melt butter in a heavy saucepan, add chili powder, garlic powder, salt and rice; mix well. Add chicken broth; bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to low. Do Not Lift the Lid for 30 minutes. Stir before serving.

Note: Onion and green peppers may be sautéed with butter in the beginning, but add another 15 minutes to cook time.
