WATERGATE CAKE 
1 pkg. white cake mix
1 pkg. (4 oz.) instant pistachio pudding mix
3 eggs
1 c. oil
1 c. 7-up of club soda
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine all ingredients except nuts and beat 2 minutes with electric mixer. Stir in nuts. Bake in a 9 by 13 inch greased and floured pan (or use a fluted pan) and bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Spread topping on.

TOPPING:

1 pkg. (4 oz.) instant pistachio pudding mix
1 1/2 c. milk
1 container (9 oz.) Cool Whip

Beat pudding mix with milk for 2 minutes. Fold in Cool Whip and spread on cooled cake.
