MY CREATED CUBE STEAK 
4 beef cubed steaks (1 to 1 1/4 lb.)
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 pkg. (envelopes) mushroom gravy mix
2 1/2 c. water
1/3 c. chopped onion

In large skillet, quickly brown steaks on both sides in hot vegetable oil. Add onion; cook until onion is almost tender, about 5 minutes. Combine water and mushroom gravy mix and pour over steaks and onion mixture. Cover; simmer for 15 minutes. Skim off any excess fat. Serve with gravy.

Yield: 4 servings.
