MARIA'S BREEZY EASY NUTTY AND
CINNAMONY COFFEE CAKE
 
Great for breakfast or any time!

1 box butter recipe yellow cake (Pillsbury preferred)
2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts
2 tbsp. cinnamon

Combine ingredients to make cake batter as directed on package. Add chopped nuts and cinnamon to batter. Bake according to package directions.

TOPPING:

1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

When done baking take out and sprinkle all of the brown sugar on top of cake. Scatter 1/2 cup chopped nuts on top.

ICING:

5 tbsp. confectioners' sugar
milk
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix confectioners' sugar and add milk, a little at a time, until it comes to a good icing consistency. Add cinnamon to icing. Drizzle on top of cake. Serve warm or cold.
