| EASY OATMEAL-PEANUT BUTTER DROP COOKIES | |

2 c. granulated sugar 4 tbsp. cocoa 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter 1/2 c. milk 3 c. oatmeal 1/2 c. peanut butter 1 tsp. vanilla Bring to a boil sugar, cocoa, butter and milk and boil for 3 minutes only. Then add oatmeal, peanut butter and vanilla. Drop on wax paper by spoonsful, any size. | |

I loved these cookies from childhood. Every year at thanksgiving, and Christmas, my grandmother, and her mother before her that I can remember have been cooking these. 20 years ago grandma passed, and I thought for sure, so were the cookies. Then I made these, and they are exactly what I remember. You gotta try theses. My favorites for at least 35 years that I can remember!!!
