GROUND BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. drained mushrooms
1 1/4 c. cream of mushroom soup
1/4 c. water, red wine or beef broth
1/2 c. sour cream

In fry pan brown ground beef, onion and drain. Stir in mushrooms, soup and water. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Heat through, do not boil. Serve over rice or noodles.

For an oven casserole omit onion and put cooked mixture into a 2 quart casserole dish and top with French fried onions, 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
