FRENCH MEAT ROLL 
Mix thoroughly:

3/4 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. diced celery
1/4 c. diced green peppers
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. catsup
2 unbeaten eggs
1/4 c. rolled oats
1 tsp. salt

Prepare Basic Biscuit Dough, adding the following:

1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes

Roll a 10x12 rectangle; spread meat mixture to within 1/2 inch of the edge (moisten edge and seal) (make a roll like a jelly roll). Bake at 425 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Serves 6. Serve plain or with the following Tomato Sauce.

TOMATO SAUCE:

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in saucepan. Add:

2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. chopped onions

Cook constantly for 5 minutes. Blend in:

2 tbsp. flour

Add:

1 c. tomato juice
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. catsup

Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Stir in 1 tablespoon chopped parsley. Season to taste. Yields 1 1/4 cups.
