PORK CHOPS MONTEREY 
4 pork chops (loin)
Salt and pepper
2 onions
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. chili sauce
3 tbsp. lemon juice

Place pork chops in baking dish. Add salt and pepper to taste. Slice ends off onions; cut 2 thick slices (1 inch or larger) from each onion, making 4 slices. Place one slice on top of each chop.

In a bowl, combine brown sugar, chili sauce and lemon juice. Pour sauce evenly over chops. Cover dish with plastic wrap. Bake in 350 degree oven 1 1/2 hours.
