PLAIN WHITE COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Flour to make soft dough (approximately 6 1/2 c.)

Cream sugar and butter together. Add well beaten eggs, milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix into soft dough. Roll out thick and bake them quick at 375 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes. Frost with frosting and decorate. These are great for any occasion, just vary the cookie cutters to match the occasion. Makes a big batch.
