POTATO CASSEROLE 
2 lb. bag frozen hash browns
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 can cream of mushroom OR cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1 stick butter, melted
1 pt. sour cream
2 c. grated sharp cheese

Thaw potatoes and stir into the salt and pepper and butter. Mix remaining ingredients together and add to the potato mixture; stir well. Pour into oblong baking dish; add topping.

TOPPING:

2 c. corn flake crumbs
1/2 stick butter

Melt butter; mix corn flake crumbs and butter together. Spread over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
