1 c. butter
1 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. water
5 eggs, slightly beaten
4 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 - 2 bags chocolate chips

Mix the following ingredients well with electric mixer (the dough will be very stiff) : butter, Crisco, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, water and eggs. Add gradually flour, salt and soda. Make sure all ingredients are mixed well. Add chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes only (may be very light in color). Do not overbake. Cool 5 minutes and remove from cookie sheet.
