SALTED PEANUT CHEWS | |
BASE: 1 pkg. yellow cake mix 1/3 c. butter, softened 1 egg 3 c. miniature marshmallows TOPPING: 2/3 c. corn syrup 1/4 c. butter 2 tsp. vanilla 12 oz. pkg. peanut butterscotch chips 2 c. Rice Krispies 2 c. Spanish peanuts Combine all base ingredients until crumbly. Press in 9"x13" pan and bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 18 minutes. Remove from oven and put marshmallows on top and return to oven for 1 to 2 minutes until marshmallows puff. Cool, while preparing topping. Melt chips, butter, syrup and vanilla until chips melt. Stir well and remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies and peanuts. Pour over marshmallows. Cool before cutting into bars. |
