SALTED PEANUT CHEWS BARS | |
1 yellow cake mix 1 egg 1/3 c. butter, softened 3 c. mini marshmallows 1 (10 oz.) bag Reese's peanut butter chips 2/3 c. corn syrup 1/4 c. butter 2 c. roasted peanuts 3 c. Rice Krispies Mix cake mix, egg and 1/3 cup butter at low speed until crumbly. Press into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 12 to 18 minutes at 350°F until golden brown. Pour the marshmallows over the top and return to oven for 1 to 2 minutes until marshmallows begin to puff. Heat until melted the Reese's peanut butter chips, corn syrup and 1/4 cup butter. Add the roasted peanuts and Rice Krispies to melted mixture. Pour over marshmallows while warm. Refrigerate until firm. |
