CHIPPED BEEF DIP (Microwave) 
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. butter
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
4 oz. dried beef, chopped
2 tbsp. minced parsley
1 tbsp. prepared horseradish
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Place onion, garlic and butter in a one quart casserole and microwave on high 30-45 seconds or until butter melts. Add cream cheese and microwave on high 45- 70 seconds or until cream cheese softens.

Remove from oven and add remaining ingredients. mix well. Chill at least 2 hours.

Use as dip for vegetables or chips or as cracker spread. Yields 2 cups.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
