HOT BEEF DIP - MICROWAVE 
1 jar (2 1/2 oz.) dried beef
1 c. water
1/2 c. fresh Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. green onion, chopped
1/4 c. sour cream
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 tbsp. parsley flakes

Using kitchen shears, cut beef into small pieces. Combine beef and water into 4 cup glass measure. Microwave on high for 4-5 minutes. Drain well. Mix in remaining ingredients and stir well. Microwave for 3-4 minutes on medium or 70% power. Stir once. Serve with crackers or chips, I prefer Fritos, vegetable sticks or chunks of bread. Yields 2 cups. I usually double the recipe. Serves 8.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
