SPICY PUMPKIN CAKE | |
1/4 c. butter 1 unbeaten egg 3 egg yolks 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. ginger 3/4 c. buttermilk 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. sugar 2 1/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. allspice 3/4 c. canned pumpkin Cream butter and sugar gradually, cream until light and fluffy, add whole egg and egg yolks 1 at a time, beating well. Sift together dry ingredients, combine milk and pumpkin and add alternately with dry ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. |
