BANANA CAKE 
1 yellow cake mix
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. water
3-4 mashed, ripe bananas
2 eggs
2 tbsp. salad oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour into greased 13x9 cake pan. Cook 35-40 minutes or until cake pulls away from the sides of the pan; let cool.

ICING:

1/2 stick butter, softened
2-3 c. powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter. Add sugar, 1 cup at a time plus enough milk to make a creamy consistency. Add vanilla and nuts; spread over cake. Yield 24-30 pieces.
