1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 med. onion, grated
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1 clove garlic, pressed
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 c. good quality strawberry preserves

Combine ingredients (except preserves) and mix well. Chill. Mold in a ring. Fill center with preserves. Serve with crackers.
