NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST 
3 c. flour
1 c. lard OR 1 1/2 c. shortening
1 beaten egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vinegar
5 tbsp. water

Cream flour and lard. Combine other ingredients. Then add to flour mixture. Handle to heart's content! Makes 2 double crust pies.
