NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST | |
3 c. flour 1 c. lard (must be lard) 1 egg 5 tbsp. water 1 tbsp. vinegar 3/4 tsp. salt Blend together lard, flour and salt. Mix egg, water and vinegar. Blend into first mixture. Roll out on lightly floured board. Place in pie tins and bake single shells. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Makes 4 single crusts or 2 top and bottom crusts. |
