WACHAUER RIESLING SUPPE (WINE
SOUP)
 
1/4 l. dry wine
1 piece cinnamon (4-6 cm. long)
10 cloves
1 l. strong beef stock (or 1/2 l. cream)
Salt
Pepper
4 tbsp. cold butter
150 g. white bread, cut into sq. and fried in some oil

Cook wine with cinnamon and cloves for 5 minutes. Add beef stock and cook another 5 minutes; filter. Add cream and salt and pepper to taste. In the blender, mix the hot soup with the cold butter. Top with the fried bread squares.
