GREENS AND HOCKBONES | |
6 lbs. cleaned greens 2 lbs. ham hocks 1 tsp. red pepper 1 1/2 c. oil Wash greens thoroughly 3 times. Place hock bones in 6 quarts water in a large part and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Lay drained greens on top of hock bones. Simmer until stems of greens are tender. Drain greens and chop if desired. Add oil and simmer 25 minutes. |
