RHUBARB COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. coconut
1 c. chopped rhubarb
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
1 egg

Mix flour, salt, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and soda. Cream shortening and brown sugar. Add egg. Alternate dry ingredients and milk. Add raisins, nuts and coconut. Mix well and drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
