OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 lb. butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 (7 oz.) Hershey's bar, grated
5 c. oatmeal (grind after measuring)
4 c. flour
2 (12 oz.) pkgs. chocolate chips
1 pkg. walnut meats

Beat first five ingredients together. Combine remaining ingredients and add to mixture. Refrigerate before baking. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Makes 10 dozen.
