GOLD CAKE | |
1/2 cup shortening 1 cup sugar 2 cups cake flour 3 teaspoons baking powder 4 yolks of eggs 1/2 cup milk Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream butter well, add sugar, continue beating, add yolks beaten light, add 1 teaspoon vanilla, mix thoroughly, then add milk alternately with the flour and baking powder mixed. Beat, place in in greased and floured pan, bake 35 to 45 minutes. Bake in loaf or layers. Submitted by: Vincent Shenko |
