SAUERKRAUT CAKE | |
2/3 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 3 sq. chocolate melted in 1/2 c. hot water 1 c. water 2/3 c. chopped, rinsed & drained sauerkraut Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs - one at a time. Add vanilla. Add chocolate. Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with water to egg mixture. Stir in sauerkraut. Bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Ice with a favorite icing. |
