SPARERIBS KAVAII 
4 lbs. spareribs
1 tsp. garlic salt

SAUCE:

1/2 c. onion, chopped
Oil
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Grated rind of 1 lemon
1/2 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. brown sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chili sauce
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. syrup from sliced pineapple

Sprinkle spareribs with garlic salt in large baking pan. Brown 20 minutes in 450 degree oven.

SAUCE: Saute onion in oil. Add rest of ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes. Pour sauce over ribs and roast at 325 degrees until tender (1 hour) basting. Last 15 minutes, top with sliced pineapple.
