CARAWAY COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
3 tsp. caraway seed

Sift together last 4 ingredients and set aside. Cream together sugar and butter. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine caraway seed with sifted ingredients. Add alternately milk and dry ingredients. Flatten each cookie with floured wet glass, sprinkle sugar on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
