SHERRY'S BAKED MAC-N-CHEESE | |
1 cup uncooked macaroni 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 2 tbsp. "I can't believe it's not butter." 2 tbsp. flour 2 1/4 cups fat-free milk 4 cups reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese salt and pepper, to taste 1 (5 oz can ) tuna packed in water, drained. TOPPING; 1 cup breadcrumbs 4 tbsp. "I can't believe it's not butter 1 large tomato, sliced In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter, add onion, cook until soft. Add flour mix. Add milk until thick. Add cheese until melted. Boil macaroni as directed on package; drain. Coat a large baking dish with cooking spray. Add macaroni. Add tuna to cheese mix. Pour tuna and cheese mix over macaroni. In a small saucepan, melt butter, stir in breadcrumbs. Place tomato slices on top of macaroni casserole, sprinkle crumbs over tomatoes. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
